Introduction Blog

Welcome to our Manchester United Hub!

Hello and welcome! My name is Harry Norton and I am currently studying Business Management at Ulster University. As part of my studies I have been asked to blog about something that interests me and for me this is Manchester United Football club. I have followed United for as long as I can remember and have been to many games with the most recent game being our 4-3 win against our biggest rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup!

Whether you’re a lifelong supporter or a newcomer to the world of Manchester United, you've landed in the right place. My blog is dedicated to all things Manchester United—celebrating the club’s rich history, analysing current matches and exploring everything from player profiles to fan culture. As one of the most storied clubs in football, Manchester United has a legacy filled with triumphs, unforgettable moments and iconic players. We’ll dive into the heart of Old Trafford, sharing insights on tactics, transfers and the latest news from the pitch. From match previews and reviews to in-depth analyses of player performances my blogs are designed to keep you informed and engaged. Whether you're donning the famous red jersey or cheering from afar, this space is for you.

Currently in football there is an international break with UEFA Nations League games being played over the weekend just past with more games during the week, as a result there has been no Premier League games. Many of the United players are representing their countries in this international break including Victor Lindelof (Sweden), Altay Bayindir (Turkey), Matthijs De Ligt (Netherlands), Joshua Zirkzee (Netherlands),  Christian Eriksen (Denmark), Rasmus Hojlund (Denmark), Diogo Dalot (Portugal), Bruno Fernandes (Portugal), Lisandro Martinez (Argentina), Manuel Ugarte (Uruguay) and Andre Onana (Cameroon). Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui were also called up for their country but unfortunately had to withdraw due to injury and fitness concerns. However, it is encouraging to see so many of our players getting international recognition and we hope that all players can come back injury free and fully fit so that we can turn our season around!

Thank you for reading this introduction blog to my page, I will be posting my next blog before our next game which is at home to Brentford and giving you updates on the latest on Manchester United.
